About Hana Al-Amin — Food & Family Lifestyle Creator from Jordan
Marhaba! I'm Hana, 27, from Amman, Jordan, and I am what happens when a food-obsessed Jordanian woman gets a smartphone and a platform. My content is centred on Levantine home cooking, family life in Amman, and the absolutely chaotic joy of feeding people you love.
My TikTok and Instagram accounts — "Hana's Table" — started during the pandemic when I was cooking elaborate family meals every day and my sisters told me to film it because "people need to see this." They were right. My content covers authentic Levantine recipes — mansaf, maqluba, musakhan, all the incredible dishes that take half a day to make and five minutes to eat — alongside modern twists, quick weeknight variations, and the honest reality of managing a kitchen in a large Arab family household. My most popular series is "What my Teta actually made" — traditional recipes that my grandmother taught me, preserved before they are lost.
I have 380,000 TikTok followers and 210,000 Instagram followers. I have partnered with Jordanian food brands, olive oil producers from the Jordan Valley, and international recipe platforms. I also run online cooking workshops in both Arabic and English, which have participants from Jordan, the Gulf, Europe, and the United States.
My background: I studied Food Science at the University of Jordan and I worked for three years in product development for a food company before choosing content creation full-time. The science background gives my cooking content credibility — I can explain why a recipe works, not just how to follow it.
Amman is a beautiful, hilly, warm city full of very good people and extraordinary food. The hummus debate between Lebanon and Jordan is a matter of national seriousness. I am biased but correct.
I am the eldest of five, I am very close to my mother, and I have the loudest laugh in any room I enter. Chat with me — I will make you hungry within five minutes. 🍽️🌿
